Welcome to The Nursery & Pre-Prep School

The Nursery School and Pre-Prep at Ardingly provide an outstanding introduction to education at the Early Years (EYFS) and KS1 stage of school life.

Our Creative Curriculum provides the experiences for each child to discover their particular strengths and talents. Here, happiness and fulfilment spring from learning and working together as a community in a safe, caring environment.

We nurture each child as an individual, building the vital moral foundation and interpersonal skills to become a valued and useful member of society.

Your involvement and communication are central to your child's success and there are numerous ways to become involved in school life.

All this takes place within the extensive grounds of Ardingly College. Beyond our beautiful school building, we take advantage of the outdoors. Forest School, walks in the woods and lessons in our outdoor classroom are all part of school life.

Please come and see us. I ‘d love to share with you our children’s enthusiasm for learning. It’s really the best illustration of what makes Ardingly the natural place for your child to grow and thrive.

What our parents say

Ardingly Pre-Prep is simply outstanding.  The children are nurtured, developed and most importantly, happy.  As a parent you can ask nothing more than for your child to be beating down the door to get to school every day, they love it so much.

Mrs Surgeoner

During my children's time at the Pre-Prep they have been mermaid spotting at the lake, taken a "flight" to Africa, hunted for dinosaur eggs in the woods and been to the school observatory to star gaze, to name but a few activites.  Never a dull moment which in turn means that learning is interesting and always fun.  A happy and special place for those important early learning years.
