For the second year in a row the Ardingly Holiday Club has been a huge success. Over the four week course, over 400 children aged 7-12 participated in a wide range of activities including zorbing, swimming, woodland adventure, an army assault course and even making and eating their own pasta! This year saw the introduction of a new tie-dying activity which was a big hit. Students produced some funky creations and even the staff couldn't resist having a go!
We are already looking at ways to make the summer holiday club bigger and better next year. The aim of the holiday club is to provide a fun, exciting, stimulating and safe activity club for children during school holidays and judging from the feedback from parents and students it did just that.
"I really enjoyed the Holiday Club because the staff made it fun and I got to meet children from other Year Groups. The best bit was swimming every day but I also enjoyed the Woodland activities." ( Bradley Baldwin).
