Our Venue

Built in the 1800s, the College is steeped in history and set in 240 acres of beautiful West Sussex countryside, yet is located only 12 miles south of London Gatwick airport and 35 miles from London Heathrow.

Our Core Business

In keeping with our educational ethos, the College partners with several residential education and sporting groups who offer a range of high-quality language and sport-orientated courses utilising the College’s superb facilities extensively throughout the Easter and Summer holidays.

Our partners are offered the exclusive use of our accommodation blocks and a wide range of sporting and conference facilities.

Our Accommodation

Our accommodation blocks range from our premier accommodation, Godwin Hall, offering 108+ ensuite single bedrooms, to our standard plus accommodation in our purpose-built boarding houses: Hilton, Mertens, Toynbee, Aberdeen and the Lower School. We also offer standard accommodation in our converted day houses: Rhodes/ Pearson, Crosse, Neal and Burgess.

In total, the College has circa 650 beds on offer comprising of ensuite single bedrooms and single, twin and dormitory style bedrooms.

Our Facilities

Our facilities range from our multipurpose entertainment space “The Under”, to our 25-metre swimming pool. Our sporting facilities including two sports halls, the Strength and Conditioning suite, plus meeting room and conference spaces.

Other Business

In addition, the College often partners with day course and/or adhoc clients during all holiday periods, subject to availability. Wedding services in the chapel are offered to Old Ardinians and/or current staff members only. Unfortunately, our facilities are not available during term time and/or for external weddings and celebration events.

Swim School

Ardingly Swim School teaches both children and adults to develop swimming skills that enable confidence and safety in the water, in a fun, friendly and safe environment.

Swimming Lessons for adults and children • All ages and abilities welcome • ASA Level 2 teachers • Small groups

Our swim school is run by four times Swimming World Champion Karen Pickering MBE. Karen made her international debut in 1986 and went on to win an incredible 35 Major Championship medals and 38 National Titles, as well as competing in four consecutive Olympic Games.
