It had been a busy term making connections with local state Primary Schools as part of the College’s commitment to developing partnerships. Partnerships that will share best practice, expertise and facilities which will enhance the education of all.
Earlier this term, 18 Year 12 MFL students visited Lindfield Academy to assist with their Euro Languages Day. Our students delivered a language workshop to every year group in the school. The primary children were engaged and enthused, and the 6th form students had the opportunity to develop skills necessary for working with younger children.
Over the course of this academic year there will be a collaboration of music and drama to inspire, Staff training on Modern Foreign Languages, Solar Car workshops, MUN after-school club. The building of these relationships will culminate in an enrichment day during Life skills week, planned and implemented by the lower 6th students with the support of their teachers.
