During Science Week, the School House and Farmhouse Prep School embarked on an exhilarating scientific journey. The students’ curiosity and ingenuity were ignited as they immersed themselves in a plethora of thrilling experiments and activities!
From encountering dinosaurs to delving into the mysteries of black holes and volcanoes, inside the Science Dome we installed in our school, the students’ thirst for knowledge was quenched by this experience. They collaborated with the Sublime Science team to explore various experiments that sparked their scientific curiosity, and flexed their engineering muscles by constructing big electrical circuits, robotic hand prototypes, and even constellation maps.
Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 students also visited the Observatory Science Centre in Herstmonceux. The excursion provided the perfect opportunity for them to satiate their inquisitive minds, by learning about space and planets first-hand. The students returned from the trip with a newfound appreciation for science, fuelled by their insatiable curiosity and innovative spirit.
Science Week certainly encouraged our pupils to be curious, ingenious and adventurous, and it fostered their sense of wonder.
