The Ardingly Prep Maths department hosted a Team Maths Challenge yesterday for some of our pupils in Years 2, 3 and 4. The challenge consisted of two rounds – a group round and a relay round.
Here is an example of one of the questions from the group round. Why not give it a try?
Matilda’s father takes 20 minutes to mow the back garden lawn, but Matilda takes 30 minutes to do the same job. If they worked together, how long would it take to mow the lawn?
Congratulations to Team 6, who came out on top – consisting of Marisa (captain), Col, Noah and Harry. Well done to all our Prep pupils that took part.
