We were extremely lucky to have a visit from Author, Vet and Zoologist Dr Jess French, who came all the way from Norfolk to speak to our Prep pupils before Easter, about her incredible work and captivating books!
Jess has written over 20 books for children and has presented a CBeebies TV show, Minibeast Adventures with Jess! She is also a regular contributor to film and radio.
In January, she published her first middle grade fiction novel, Beastlands: Race to Frostfall Mountain, the first book in a trilogy. She spoke to Years 5 and 6 about her inspiration for this, and how her travels and work with all the world’s wonderful creatures fuelled her storytelling!
