Happy International Women’s Day!💜 This years theme was ‘How to build an inclusive society for women and for all’. At the College, we marked the occasion with a series of exciting events.
We were thrilled to host our ‘How to Build an Inclusive Society’ conference, featuring a dynamic panel and engaging discussions. The energy continued with roundtable conversations in our Global Cafe. This was followed by a choice of workshops led by our inspiring speakers. We took an Equity based approach to student workshops, with our highly popular ‘Allyship’ workshop for boys, and our ‘Good Woman: Voice, Conflict and Sisterhood’ workshop for girls, alongside our other events which were open to all.
In addition, our female lead ambassadors worked with Prep students on an inspiring Sisterhood workshop and our library ran creative sessions on characters by female authors. But that’s not all, we also held our Chapel service this week with Rev. Clare Carson and a musical performance by Elaine Hagenburg, as well as hosting our annual ‘Red Tent’ event, creating an inclusive space to share stories and performances. Thank you to all who participated and a special thank you to our incredible panelists!
