We are proud of our boarding offer, which was designated a “significant strength” (the highest accolade available under the new Inspection framework) by the Independent Schools Inspectorate in June 2024.
Every weekend there are between 150 and 200 boarders on campus, with a wide range of activities on offer, access to the College’s sports and cultural facilities, as well as regular socials for all boarders.
On Saturdays during the day-time there are also sports fixtures, a shuttle bus to the local town of Haywards Heath or to Brighton for shopping, as well as in-House activities, before everyone comes together for the evening social event.
On Sundays there is the option of a later start, with a relaxed brunch, as well as a range of optional fun trips to places such as the cinema, a local trampoline park or Thorpe Park.
Boarding houses
Every boarder lives in one of our modern and purpose-built boarding houses, which becomes their ‘home from home’ at Ardingly.
