The vast majority of pupils at our Prep School transition seamlessly into Ardingly College’s Senior School at the end of Year 6.
We aim to give our families peace of mind as early as possible that their child has secured a place in our Senior School; this will be the case for all but a very small number of children.
While our Prep pupils will still take the same 11+ test as external applicants in Year 6, their results are only used for benchmarking and setting purposes in Year 7, as our Prep pupils will already have received their formal offer of a place at the Senior School some years before.
Nevertheless, we were delighted that last year the cohort from Ardingly College Prep School outperformed the cohorts from 20 other feeder schools in the 11+ tests and achieved more than 80% of the scholarships at 11+ to our Senior School.
