We are a forward-thinking and high-achieving co-educational school with a strong academic focus, excellent student support and global outlook. Our aim is for our students to reach their full potential. The same is true of our staff.

Here you will find opportunities for professional growth and development, with support systems in place to help you thrive in your role.  Whether through mentoring, ongoing training initiatives, apprenticeships or collaborative projects, there are many avenues for staff to further their careers and sense of personal achievement.

For those new to teaching, the College provides a programme to support you through your early career. We recruit highly qualified graduates into teaching roles, where they receive the close support of an academic mentor and a professional studies tutor to develop wider teaching skills.  If all goes well, we offer support to undertake the Buckingham PGCE in the second year of teaching.  For newly qualified teachers (NQTs), an experienced mentor guides staff through the Independent Schools Teacher Induction Panel (IStip).

The College has a keen interest in developing its own staff and many of our middle and senior managers have been recruited from within. Opportunities to progress arise in management, leadership, pastoral and research projects for those who are looking for further challenge. Whatever your aspirations, we are fully supportive of staff development and offer rewarding career paths to both our teaching and operations staff.
